Ingredients
1 2-lb bag frozen hash browns
10 oz sharp or mild cheddar cheese, grated
1/2 cup butter, melted
salt and pepper, to taste
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 8oz carton sour cream
onion salt, generous sprinkling
Preparation
Mix all ingredients and put into 2-qt casserole. Top with 2 cups crushed cornflakes with 1/2 cup melted butter poured on top.
Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
